On July 22, 1998 Sea Splash Resort officially started it's project of being an organization that is conscious of the impact it has on the environment. We then began to institute plans to sustain positive practices and eliminate negative ones.

Our Environmental Management System (EMS) was born, this covers all the operations, job functions and procedures of the hotel. This manual is specifically designed so that the staff can know and follow the guidelines which are so vividly described in the EMS Manual.

We encourage our guests to join us in preserving our environment by observing our various programs such as towel reuse, hot water switches, energy and water conservation.

We are very proud of the numerous achievements and awards which we have received thus far. These include Green Globe Certification for three years running, Environmental Ambassador, and Certificate of Achievement Awards.

Conservation really is everyone's concern, and we must join together to insure that we do all that we can to preserve our precious natural resources.
